What are Motion Graphics?

Motion graphics are animated images that combine images and text. Typical examples of motion graphics are:

  • Station Identification or Program Identification Announcements for Television
  • Opening Titles and Credit Sequences in Film
  • Event Graphics for sports teams and concerts

Introduction to Cinema4D Mograph

Cinema 4D has a specialized module created specifically for the creation of motion graphics.

The main tool in this module is the Cloner object which allows for the rapid creation of amazing visuals. The Cloner object is combined with 3D models, Deformers and Effectors

We will run through some basic Mograph tutorials from the Cinema4D help menu in class before starting the main project
